| FRIDAY 13TH is an exhibition that introduces an aesthetical concept that works as a three-dimensional scrapbook for summer 2008 and that will, in our view, influence the coming fashion season with it’s visionary ideas. The involved artists, designers and musicians all have one thing in common: All of them express a strong, unique opinion with the means of their respective medium such as music, film or contemporary fine arts. Contrary to long term exhibitions we have compressed the exhibition into an evening event, in order to intensify the underground, „happening“ character of the experience. We feel all creativity is bred within certain surroundings – without experiencing certain contexts, the impetus cannot be given in the right way. Staging a night where installations, artwork, film, photography and music can be experienced separately but will inevitably interact, a unique symbiosis is created and will act as a great inspiration for everyone with creative inclinations. THE BROKEN HEARTS CLUB is a monthly event where influential musicians, djs and creatives take turns in sharing their top ten heartbreak love songs with a music loving audience. As a collaboration between friends, the BHC was founded and is curated by: Ingrid JUNKER, a fashion designer, Niki Pauls , a stylist and Conny OPPER master mind behind the legendary Rio Club and a veteran of the Berlin nightlife industry. The Broken Hearts Club has become the most talked about underground party of Berlin, attracting the fashion & music crowd, gallerists, authors , artists. actors and advertisement & Pr people from all over the world. NOWADAYS is an interdisciplinary and internationally active production and creative agency based in Berlin. Nowadays started out as a photo production agency and specialised in location scouting, project coordination & management before finally going into art buying for international magazines such as “Vogue International”, “10 Mag” or “Another Magazine”.
